Today's cool temperature will make watering so much more pleasant.  And all the effort of the past months are now evident.  Swaths of sedums, dahlias, black-eye susans, and pineapple-sage have stepped into the lime-light, supported by a cast comprised of coleus, azaleas, and countless ferns.  I must resist the urge to gloat . . .
