Friday is here again--thankfully.  Last night's rain and today's warmer temperatures is sure to spur lots of activity.  The garden shops are brimming with new arrivals and this weekend seems ideal for cleaning out and getting in place over-sized containers to be filled with azaleas, anemones, ferns, and mountain laurels.  The thought of planting neat rows of veges and herbs seems enticing, but it may be wise to wait at least another week or so.  Better safe than sorry:  this proverbial wisdom still holds true.  Patience, I believe, is a necessary attribute of a true gardener . . .

And a lovely weekend to all!!
