VT 7.3.13

Looking outside just now, it could be easy to forget that just yesterday a snow-storm was expected to blanket many parts of the East coast.  Instead, just loads of rain were received, and the garden seems quite rejuvenated as a result of this.  I see tiny shoots on the clematis vine and the rose bushes will blossom early and abundantly; butterfly magnolias and forsythia will erupt shortly, and the crocuses are almost ready to burst forth in proclamation of spring.  All this activity makes me happy.  Have a wonderful Thursday . . .
